Kauai Wedding

Famous pic

We just finished a beautiful on location wedding shoot on the island of Kauai of Amanda Geer and Dan Kieth. Everything was amazing, the weather was perfect, we are so happy to  have been a part of their special day. Deana and I both shot photos from different angles and perspectives during and after the ceremony so that we would not miss a thing.

The wedding took place with about 40 friends and family there to witness this special union on Shipwreck Beach located on the south end of Kauai.

The only challenge I had was when the wedding officiant was cracking a coconut to demonstrate the Hawaiian traditions I got sprayed with milk as I tried to get the shot.

After the wedding, we climbed the large cliff at Shipwreck Beach to get some amazing images, such as this one.

Thanks Amanda & Dan for choosing us and giving us the privilege to photograph your wedding.

New Web Page

We are just completing the final touches on our new Web Page. We have been overdue for this change and are both very excited to be able to roll this out. Of course, there will be a bit of a learning curve for us at first but it won’t take us long to figure out.

This past March we both attended the WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International) conference in Las Vegas. It was really great to be there with so many fantastic photographers from around the world. There were some great workshops and a huge trade-show spotlighting all of the newest photographic technology. We picked up a new fish-eye lens  for a really cool affect. We’ll talk about that more in another post.

We are headed to the beautiful Island of Kauai this summer to shoot a wedding on Shipwreck Beach. It’s an incredible place for a wedding with great photo opportunities, not to mention SUNSHINE. Can’t wait to be there for your special day Dan & Amanda, thanks for choosing us.

We are also gearing up for another great year of Senior Portraits. If you know of a 2014 senior be sure to have them get in touch with us soon, as our schedule will fill up fast.

Also we want to give a very special Thank You to Tyler Savin for all your help!! You have been very patient and great to work with building this with us.
